(DC Pundit) – Nothing says “we respect voters” quite like hiring a guy whose job is to court conservatives and independents, then watching him trash Americans the second he thinks the cameras are off.
T.J. Wolfgram, the Independent and Conservative Outreach Captain for radical leftist Michigan Senate nominee Abdul El-Sayed, was caught on an undercover recording obtained by The Midwesterner doing exactly that. The Oct. 15 conversation focused on the growing scrutiny of El-Sayed’s family connections to the Muslim Brotherhood. Wolfgram waved it all away with the kind of casual contempt that explains why so many normal people stopped trusting the left years ago.
“The Muslim Brotherhood was the revolution in Egypt that we were, we as the United States, were either neutral on or even supportive of at the time,” Wolfgram said. “And now it’s like, ‘Oh in 1999, Abdul’s mom, who did not raise him because he grew up with his father and stepmom, she worked for a company that transferred $60,000 to the Muslim Brotherhood in 19’ … it’s like, it’s so ridiculous.”
When the undercover operative asked, “Why wouldn’t you support revolutionary movements for your people? I’m not offended by it,” Wolfgram replied, “Yeah, right. It’s because Americans are idiots.”
He kept going. “I don’t have any issue with the Muslim Brotherhood. And if I knew more about it, I might support some of what they do. I mean, granted, there’s gonna be cultural differences, so there’s gonna be things about the way they go about what they do that I don’t agree with.”

This is the man El-Sayed’s campaign put in charge of talking to people who might still be on the fence. The same campaign that has spent weeks insisting the Muslim Brotherhood questions are nothing more than bigoted smears. El-Sayed himself has repeatedly denied personal or family ties, even as old social media posts from his half-sister describing their mother’s activism in the group resurfaced and even as reports detailed her work for an organization later sanctioned for funding al-Qaeda.
Michigan voters get the final say on November 3. They can decide whether they prefer a candidate whose own outreach staffer openly dismisses them as idiots while shrugging off a group with a long history of extremism, or whether they prefer someone who actually treats Americans like adults capable of asking legitimate questions. The tape is already out. The contempt is no longer hidden.
