(DC Pundit) – Royce White is not known for pulling punches, and his latest broadside against Rep. Ilhan Omar of Minnesota proves that hasn’t changed one bit. The former NBA first-round pick and Republican Senate primary candidate turned heads recently during a VladTV interview where he called for Omar’s deportation and unveiled what he’s pitching as the centerpiece of a potential presidential campaign.
The slogan? “Don’t Mogadishu my America.”
Asked directly what he thought of Omar, White didn’t hesitate: “I think she should be deported.”
“This is not Mogadishu. Yeah. That’s my campaign pitch for my presidential run. … Don’t Mogadishu my America,” he said.
White argued that the United States has become an “epicenter for Somalis” and took direct aim at refugees who criticize the country that took them in. “Go back to Somalia, go live in Somalia then, if America is so bad,” he said. “And it’s not just Ilhan. It’s Ilhan. It’s Mamdani. It’s Sayed.”

He also made a series of pointed claims about Omar’s background, including allegations that her father was “a deep state asset” connected to a U.S.-backed faction during Somalia’s civil war. White also referenced the longstanding and unresolved controversy surrounding Omar’s alleged marriage to her brother to secure his immigration status, a claim that recently resurfaced at the highest levels of government.
DHS Secretary Markwayne Mullin stated earlier this month that officials believe she “married her brother to try to bring him into the United States” and that “something’s going to happen” if investigators can build a non-political case. That’s a pretty significant statement, and yet the mainstream media has shown remarkably little interest in following up on it.
White later doubled down on X, writing: “Ilhan Omar must be deported and it’s a crying shame this is even controversial. Her father was a war general that led a genocide, she is the fruit of deep state foreign policy. Did she marry her brother? Does she hate this country? What are we doing? Get her ass outta here. Royce White for President. Mass Deportations, Moratorium!”

There is, however, a legal wrinkle worth noting. Omar is a naturalized U.S. citizen, which means standard deportation is off the table. Removing her citizenship would require a denaturalization process based on fraud — a significantly higher legal bar, though not an impossible one if the marriage allegations are ever formally pursued.
White also made national headlines last month when he entered the WNBA draft after declaring himself a transgender woman, a move widely seen as a direct challenge to the league’s gender policies.
