URGENT: CLICK TO FIGHT BACK AGAINST THE LEFT!
(DC Pundit) – Severe storms grounded the planes and helicopters, and President Donald Trump still wasn’t about to let a little weather keep him from a crowd of Oklahoma supporters.
Thursday was already a full day on the midterm trail. Trump started at a Peterbilt truck plant in Denton, Texas. The plan was to fly north to Durant for a rally backing Republican gubernatorial candidate Mike Mazzei and other GOP candidates, with remarks set for 6 p.m. Then the storms rolled in. The White House press pool reported a “bad weather call” and a switch from aircraft to motorcade.
Advisors told the president the weather was terrible, the helicopter was out, and the plane could not land. Canceling Oklahoma was floated. Trump, never one to take the easy exit, asked what options were left. The answer was a long drive. So he asked how fast “The Beast,” the armored presidential limousine, could go. Close to a hundred miles an hour, they said.
Anyone who expected the president to sit this one out hasn’t been paying attention. Trump told the crowd at the Choctaw Event Center what happened next.
“This was NOT an easy trip,” Trump said.
“I said, GET YOUR A*SES IN THE CAR!”

Trump also kept his supporters posted from the road. He wrote on Truth Social that there had been a major weather delay, that planes and helicopters couldn’t land, and that the team was driving up from Texas.
“They wanted me to postpone the event, and I said, ‘NO WAY, I’M GOING TO OKLAHOMA!’” He added that The Beast was “going faster than it has ever gone before,” and told the crowd waiting in Durant: “It won’t be long! I love you all. See you in a little while.”
Those supporters had been waiting for hours, both inside and outside the venue. Doors opened at 2 p.m., and local crews said people stood through heavy rain, with many calling it a once-in-a-lifetime night. That’s the kind of loyalty you can’t buy with a Washington consultant’s talking points.
Trump said he made the trip to thank Oklahoma for that loyalty. He closed with the same order he’s giving every red state: get out and vote.
