URGENT: CLICK TO FIGHT BACK AGAINST THE LEFT!
(DC Pundit) – Martin Gillespie was a 69-year-old United States Air Force veteran, a loving father of three, and a grandfather of eight. By all accounts, he was exactly the kind of man this country was built by and built for. He died on April 1 at Alegent Health Community Memorial Hospital in Missouri Valley, Iowa. What happened after his death is deeply disturbing.
According to a federal lawsuit filed by his daughters, Christina Gubbels and Daun Stoddard, hospital staff harvested Gillespie’s organs, skin, eyes, and tissue on the very same day he was pronounced dead, without his prior consent, without any authorization from his next of kin, and apparently without even picking up a phone to call his children.
The lawsuit, obtained by Law & Crime, states plainly: “On April 1, 2026, decedent arrived via Missouri Valley Fire and Rescue to defendant’s hospital and was pronounced deceased. During his lifetime, decedent did not authorize anatomical gifts of his body in any manner.” That could not be clearer.
Making matters significantly worse, court filings allege that the hospital incorrectly identified an aunt as the next of kin with authority to authorize anatomical gift decisions — despite possessing information that Gillespie had biological children. The lawsuit is explicit on this point: the aunt “was not the decedent’s next of kin nor was she ever appointed to make legal or healthcare decisions on decedent’s behalf under a durable power of attorney or similar instrument. Decedent also did not authorize [the aunt] to make anatomical gifts on decedent’s behalf.”

The Iowa Donor Network harvested his organs that same day. His body was then transported to Hennessey Funeral Home in Missouri Valley for cremation. His daughters, who describe themselves as having been “reasonably available to make decisions,” say they were never contacted at all.
Gubbels and Stoddard are now seeking more than $75,000 in damages for malpractice, fraud, and negligent infliction of emotional distress, though no dollar amount can truly account for what was taken from this family.
Martin Gillespie served his country in uniform. He deserved to have his final wishes, and his legal rights, honored and protected. Instead, his family was robbed of the most basic dignity afforded to the deceased, and his daughters were denied the right to make decisions that were legally and morally theirs to make. Someone at that hospital needs to be held fully accountable.
