URGENT: CLICK TO FIGHT BACK AGAINST THE LEFT!
(DC Pundit) – If you ever needed proof that Trump Derangement Syndrome is alive, well, and completely untreated, look no further than the recent on-air lovefest between washed-up comedian Rosie O’Donnell and former CNN White House correspondent Jim Acosta.
The pair got together on Acosta’s show this week to push what can only be described as textbook election denialism, the very thing these two spent years clutching their pearls over when conservatives questioned the 2020 results. The irony is so thick you could cut it with a knife.
O’Donnell, who famously self-deported to Ireland last year to live in what she dramatically called “exile,” has apparently crawled back stateside, and she brought her conspiracy theories with her. She flat-out declared that President Trump stole the election from Kamala Harris.
“So most people are very, very, very shocked, scared, and absolutely astonished that he is the President of the United States, and I think I am too. I mean, part of the reason that I left is I never in a million years thought we would put a convicted felon who tried to start an insurrection back in office,” O’Donnell said. The same crowd that called questioning election results an “insurrection” is now… questioning election results. Got it.
“How did that happen? I don’t think it happened. I think Kamala won. I do,” she continued, as Acosta generously called her theory “interesting.” That’s one word for it.
Not content to stop there, Rosie dragged Elon Musk into her fever dream, implying the tech billionaire may have rigged the vote on Trump’s behalf. “And I think that we’re going to find all this out…And you know, the Elon Musk, of it all,” she rambled, asking Acosta, “What did he do for Donald that was able to give him back all that he gave him back? What did he do, you think, for the Donald in that election?”
Acosta, meanwhile, tied himself in rhetorical knots trying to avoid acknowledging that elections can be manipulated, because doing so would make him a certified hypocrite after four years of mocking anyone who questioned 2020. “I tend to trust it,” he stammered. “But I do worry he’s going to try to steal the next one.”
O’Donnell then escalated further, predicting Trump won’t steal the midterms, he’ll cancel them. “I think he’s going to come up with some big tragedy…and he’s going to declare that the elections are off,” she said. “That’s what I think is going to happen because that’s in the Fascist playbook.”
Acosta could be heard enthusiastically agreeing throughout.
O’Donnell and Trump have a long history. Trump famously called her a “fat pig” and a “disgusting animal” during a 2016 debate. She fled the country after the election and is now back, apparently refreshed and ready to embarrass herself on a national stage all over again.
