URGENT: CLICK TO FIGHT BACK AGAINST THE LEFT!
(DC Pundit) – Virginia’s freshly inaugurated Democrat Governor Abigail Spanberger has wasted absolutely no time making her priorities crystal clear. On Wednesday, Spanberger signed Executive Order 16, a directive aimed at limiting the activities of federal ICE agents on state property, including schools, hospitals, courthouses, and, most eyebrow-raisingly, polling places.
The order was issued in response to what the Governor describes as “increased and aggressive” ICE activity across the Commonwealth. She insists the executive order will “strengthen public safety” and “reaffirm federal law enforcement accountability.” Which is a remarkable way of describing an order that actively works to keep federal law enforcement at arm’s length.
Now, Democrats have told us repeatedly, loudly, passionately, and with great indignation, that illegal aliens are not voting in American elections. It’s against the law, they remind us. Can’t happen. Doesn’t happen. Stop asking.
So here’s a question that apparently nobody in the mainstream media is too eager to pursue: if illegals aren’t voting, why on earth is a Democrat governor signing executive orders to keep immigration enforcement agents away from polling locations? What is it about the combination of “ICE” and “voting booth” that causes such alarm on the left? Asking for roughly 330 million Americans.

Republican commentator John Reid had no trouble identifying what’s really going on here. “Governor Spanberger just continues to send the wrong message to everyone across the Commonwealth,” Reid said plainly.
He continued, “She needs to be demanding that everyone agree that we’re all going to obey the law, no matter where you are. This decision that she has made since her inauguration to try to blur the lines and act like ICE is somehow illegitimate is not helping law enforcement, and quite frankly it’s not helping the citizens of Virginia.”
He’s right on every count. Spanberger is a former CIA officer and congresswoman who flipped her suburban Richmond district blue and rode a wave of anti-Trump sentiment to the governor’s mansion. She now governs a state that is increasingly purple, and her early moves suggest she intends to govern from the hard left.
The core issue here is straightforward. Either illegal immigrants are voting, in which case this order serves an obvious and deeply troubling purpose, or they aren’t, in which case this order is completely unnecessary political theater designed to antagonize the federal government and score points with the activist base.
Neither explanation reflects well on the Governor.
Democrats are not interested in election integrity. They are not interested in honest outcomes. What they are interested in is power: acquiring it, keeping it, and engineering whatever conditions make that possible. Virginia residents who care about free and fair elections should be watching Spanberger very closely.
