(DC Pundit) – The Seattle Storm have a problem, and it has nothing to do with their record on the court.

On Tuesday, two teenage girls showed up to a Storm game wearing XX-XY Athletics T-shirts, a brand that advocates for protecting women’s sports from biological male competitors, and carried a sign thanking Storm player Sophie Cunningham for publicly speaking out in support of female athletes. By any reasonable measure, two young girls attending a women’s basketball game to support a player who stands up for women in sports should be a wholesome, uncomplicated story.

Instead, according to reports, lesbian co-owner Celeste Keaton allegedly mocked and berated the girls, making insulting gestures directed at them. The teens were reportedly left in tears.

Keaton was not the only one. An unidentified man at the game also allegedly confronted the girls, calling on security to “take the trash out” — referring to two teenage girls whose only offense was wearing a T-shirt that acknowledges basic biology.

The Storm organization later issued an apology, though the ownership has not made any public statements addressing the co-owner’s alleged behavior directly.

The irony here is almost too much to process. The co-owner of a women’s professional basketball team apparently has no interest in protecting the integrity of the women’s sports that her own franchise represents. The girls holding that sign understand something Celeste Keaton doesn’t.

(DC Pundit) – President Donald Trump is reportedly pressing Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. to take a harder look at the childhood vaccine schedule, and according to the Wall Street Journal, the president is not letting up on the issue.

Citing people “familiar with the matter,” the WSJ reported that Trump asked Kennedy in May “why he wasn’t doing more to probe the alleged connection between vaccines and autism.” The report claims Kennedy was “taken aback,” having apparently been advised to dial back vaccine talk ahead of the midterm elections. That restraint appears to conflict directly with Trump’s own priorities. “The president steers nearly every conversation with his health secretary back to the issue, some of the people said,” according to the outlet.

Trump’s goal, per the report, is to reduce the number of vaccines on the federal childhood immunization schedule and update the guidance accordingly. The driving force behind this push is the alarming rise in autism rates among American children, a trend that has accelerated dramatically over the past quarter century. As of 2020, the autism rate among 8-year-olds stood at 1 in 36. It has since gotten worse. Last year, Kennedy announced a series of studies to identify “precisely what environmental toxins” are causing autism, noting the rate had climbed to 1 in 31 children.

Kennedy has been unambiguous about the severity of the situation. “The epidemic is real,” he said. “Instead of listening to this canard of epidemic denial, all you have to do is start reading a little science, because the answer is very clear, and this is catastrophic for our country. This is added to already astronomical healthcare costs. And then there’s an individual injury. These are kids that — this is a preventable disease. We know it’s an environmental exposure. It has to be. Genes do not cause epidemics.”

While the left continues to attack Kennedy, he has been consistent in stating that his goal is ensuring the public has “good information” — a concept that apparently terrifies a certain segment of the media establishment.

Trump himself has been vocal on the subject. In September, he held a press conference with health officials warning pregnant women against using acetaminophen, commonly known as Tylenol, during pregnancy due to what he described as a “very increased risk of autism.” He also noted: “I think I can say that there are certain groups of people that don’t take vaccines and don’t take any pills that have no autism. That have no autism. Does that tell you something?”

Kennedy responded by referencing the Amish population: “There are some studies that suggest that. Yeah, with the Amish for example.”

Trump has been clear that he supports vaccines but wants more honest scrutiny of whether certain ones may be harmful. That is not an unreasonable position for a president overseeing a country where 1 in 31 children now has autism.

The administration has already taken meaningful action. The CDC removed the coronavirus vaccine from the recommended immunization schedule for healthy children and pregnant women. Kennedy announced the removal of a mercury-based preservative from flu shots. And in March, Trump signed an executive order formally acknowledging a recent HHS scientific assessment on childhood vaccines as a guiding resource for the federal government.

The current childhood vaccine schedule has infants receiving over a dozen doses in the first six months of life. Including the annual flu shot and COVID jab, children would receive upwards of 72 injections by age 18. Asking whether that schedule deserves a fresh look is not anti-science.

(DC Pundit) – If you have ever watched the mainstream media bend over backwards to defend Beijing while attacking anyone who dares to confront China’s growing threat to American interests, investigative reporter Natalie Winters may have just provided the explanation you’ve been looking for.

Winters, a reporter associated with the Bannon War Room, just dropped an explosive report claiming that dozens of American journalists have taken CCP-funded trips to China and received kickbacks in exchange for favorable coverage of the Chinese Communist Party. If her reporting holds up, and the foreign-agent filings she references are very real documents, it would explain a great deal about the media coverage Americans have been consuming for years.

According to the investigation, foreign-agent filings reveal that operatives working for a Chinese Communist Party-linked influence organization planned free trips for American journalists based on the potential for “favorable coverage” and sought to “effectively disseminate positive messages” about Beijing. The organization behind these efforts is the China-United States Exchange Foundation, known as CUSEF.

The filings themselves did not plainly identify which reporters received the access. But by cross-referencing those filings with archived newsletters, annual reports, and contemporaneous accounts, Winters’ investigation uncovered the names of prominent American journalists who participated in China trips organized or funded by CUSEF.

The roster reads like a who’s who of American legacy media. Current and former journalists from The New York Times, CNN, MSNBC, The Washington Post, NPR, the Associated Press, Vox, The Atlantic, the Los Angeles Times, the Chicago Tribune, and other major news organizations all appear on the list.

And what happened after these all-expenses-paid trips to China? In several cases, the journalists returned home and produced columns defending Chinese government policies, attacking President Trump’s confrontation with Beijing, or presenting the decline of American manufacturing as an inevitable fact of life rather than the direct result of decades of Chinese economic aggression.

Totally a coincidence, surely.

This report lands at a particularly significant moment. President Trump recently delivered a primetime address revealing that China had allegedly stolen American voter data and attempted to manufacture fraudulent ballots, information the CIA reportedly had during his first term and failed to share with him. The question of how deeply China has penetrated American institutions, including the media, is no longer a fringe concern. It is a national security issue that demands serious investigation.

Journalists who accepted trips and payments from a CCP-linked influence operation while covering U.S.-China relations and American politics have some very serious questions to answer. At minimum, their employers should be demanding full disclosure. At maximum, those who failed to register as foreign agents while acting as one may have bigger legal problems on their hands than a bad headline.

(DC Pundit) – Things are not going well in the Magic Kingdom, and haven’t been for quite some time.

Disney has kicked off its third round of layoffs in as many years, and 2026 isn’t even over yet. A Disney representative confirmed to The Wrap that the company is cutting employees across multiple prominent divisions, including corporate roles, positions at ESPN and National Geographic, and jobs throughout the company’s film and television operations. For a company that built its brand on magic and imagination, Disney has developed a remarkably unmagical habit of pink-slipping its own workforce on an annual basis.

But it’s the news about Pixar that is turning the most heads. The studio behind beloved classics like “Toy Story” and “Up” took the hardest hit in this latest round, absorbing 116 layoffs — and this despite the fact that Pixar just released the critically and commercially successful “Toy Story 5.” The New York Post called the latest round of cuts a “fresh bloodbath,” a description that is hard to argue with given the pattern that has emerged.

Worth noting about “Toy Story 5”: the film focused on a straightforward story about the dangers of excessive screen time, notably stepping back from some of the more controversial elements that have plagued several of Pixar’s recent releases and contributed to disappointing box office results. Turns out audiences respond well when studios just tell a good story without the lectures.

Disney is insisting that this latest round of layoffs has more to do with the evolving media landscape than with poor box office performance. That explanation might carry more weight if the layoffs weren’t happening for the third consecutive year. At some point, blaming external forces gets old, especially when the company’s own creative and ideological decisions have driven away significant portions of its traditional audience over the past several years.

Disney’s woke era has been well documented. From controversial content decisions that alienated family audiences to box office disappointments that cost the studio hundreds of millions of dollars, the House of Mouse has spent years learning the hard way that going to war with your core customer base is a losing strategy. “Toy Story 5’s” more traditional approach suggests someone in Burbank may finally be getting the message.

Despite the cuts, Pixar still has a busy road ahead. The studio has announced an original feature called “Gatto,” as well as “Incredibles 3,” an addition to the wildly popular superhero franchise. Both will be significant tests of whether the studio can translate its recent course correction into sustained box office performance.

Disney’s shareholders, and employees, will be watching closely.

(DC Pundit) – Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson has a federal government to blame for everything. Convenient, isn’t it? Because when seven Save-A-Lot grocery stores shuttered across the city’s South and West sides this week, leaving some of Chicago’s most impoverished residents without a nearby place to buy food, Johnson pointed his finger squarely at Washington rather than examining what’s happening in his own backyard.

Here’s what actually happened. The city of Chicago handed Yellow Banana, the operator of these stores, $13.5 million in taxpayer-funded grants to keep them open. That is not a small amount of money. It is the kind of investment that should have provided a solid foundation for sustained operations. Instead, all seven stores closed anyway, taking that public money with them.

Yellow Banana had been struggling for some time. Block Club Chicago noted the company had difficulty getting the stores open in the first place, dealing with missed deadlines, protests, legal disputes, and sudden closures that generated scathing national headlines. Then Save-A-Lot cut ties with Yellow Banana entirely, leaving the operator without its retail partner. The company also suffered a significant blow when CEO Joe Canfield died of a stroke at the age of 54 in April.

The result is a food desert expanding across neighborhoods that were already struggling. The South and West sides of Chicago are impoverished, crime-ridden areas where residents depend heavily on accessible grocery options. The closure of these seven stores makes an already difficult situation considerably worse.

Residents who spoke to FOX 32 Chicago were understandably devastated.

“It’s bad, because this is the only reasonable store that we have around the neighborhoods,” one woman said.

“It just opened up, and now it’s about to close down again,” another resident said. “We got nothing! I don’t know what we’re going to do.”

Others worried about the workers left jobless by the closures. “The majority of the people working (at the store) are like my family,” one man said. “Another blow to the community.”

Mayor Johnson’s response to all of this? Blame the federal government. “You know what’s happening at the federal level? That’s what’s causing the disruption of the local market,” he said. “I’m going to continue to do my part to make these necessary investments. The hope is that our different leaders can come together to find a way.”

The city already made a $13.5 million investment, Mayor. They closed anyway. At some point, Chicago’s leadership has to reckon with the fact that decades of failed progressive policies, soaring crime rates that drive businesses out, fiscal mismanagement, and an environment hostile to private enterprise, are the reason grocery chains don’t want to operate in these neighborhoods in the first place. Blaming Trump doesn’t feed anyone.

(DC Pundit) – The Feeding Our Future scandal, a massive fraud operation that stole over $240 million in federal funds meant to feed needy children, just developed another connection to Congresswoman Ilhan Omar’s family circle, and it is going to be very difficult for her to explain away.

According to an investigation by The Daily Wire, Omar’s sister, Sahra Noor, registered her consulting company, Grit Partners Consulting, at a Minnesota residence on Hyacinth Way in Lakeville, an address that business records connect to multiple major figures in the Feeding Our Future operation. Noor’s firm is a health and leadership consultancy focused largely on projects in Africa. Her website claims she has “secured more than $20 million in funding for health initiatives” and consulted on projects backed by the CDC, USAID, GAVI, and the World Bank.

It’s the address, however, that is now raising serious questions.

That Hyacinth Way home reportedly belongs to Mashah Ahmed Ali and his wife, Ister Ahmed Afraa, also known as Ismahan Afraah, a woman whose business history intersects with a remarkable number of people and entities connected to one of the largest federal fraud cases in Minnesota history.

Afraa established Sunrise Business Center with Hanna Marekegn, who pleaded guilty to participating in the Feeding Our Future fraud. Marekegn admitted to helping steal millions of dollars while falsely claiming to provide meals to thousands of children. She also admitted that accusations of racism were weaponized to pressure state bureaucrats when they raised red flags about the operation’s obviously suspicious numbers. A tactic that, it should be noted, tends to work disturbingly well in Minnesota.

Afraa also incorporated Sunshine Care Center MN. State health records reportedly listed Feeding Our Future founder Aimee Bock as the contact person for that operation. Bock was sentenced in May to 500 months in federal prison for leading the scheme. According to the Justice Department, Feeding Our Future fraudulently obtained and distributed more than $240 million through over 250 meal sites. The same Hyacinth Way address was also used to register Diversity Childcare Center LLC, with Afraa listed as manager and Bock again listed as a contact.

Another figure in Afraa’s orbit is Sahra Mohamed Nur, a different person from Omar’s sister, who was sentenced to 51 months in prison and ordered to pay more than $5 million in restitution after pleading guilty to wire fraud and money laundering. Nur’s company, S & S Catering, claimed to have served more than eight million meals and received over $16 million in fraudulent reimbursements.

When The Daily Wire contacted Mashah Ahmed Ali about the businesses registered at his home, his response was memorable. “There must be some sort of scam going on, I have no idea,” he said, before refusing to provide contact information for his wife. Neither Afraa nor Noor responded to requests for comment.

To be clear: a shared address and overlapping business associations do not by themselves prove that Sahra Noor or Grit Partners participated in the fraud, and neither has been publicly charged. What they do prove is that the web of connections surrounding Ilhan Omar’s family and the largest federal food fraud case in Minnesota history keeps growing — and that a full investigation with complete answers from Omar and everyone else involved is long overdue.

(DC Pundit) – Elizabeth Waffle is 88 years old. She lives in a trailer in Milan, Michigan, after her house burned down two years ago. She owns an old pickup truck. She does not own a computer. Her internet is spotty. She lives on a modest pension.

According to federal records, she also apparently donated $150,000 to Democratic candidates and causes over the past five years, roughly eight donations a day, every single day, averaging $9.18 each, for a grand total of 14,696 separate transactions.

She has a few words about that.

“One hundred and fifty thousand?” Waffle said when Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Charlie LeDuff of the Michigan Enjoyer showed up at her door with the paperwork. “Hell no. I don’t have that kind of money.”

LeDuff brought her the Federal Election Commission data compiled by researcher Bob Cushman, which shows Waffle donating from both her current trailer and from an apartment she briefly rented in town, sometimes on the same day. The records also list contributions to out-of-state candidates she says she has never heard of in her life. Waffle acknowledges making a few dozen small donations over the years. A few dozen. Not fourteen thousand six hundred and ninety-six.

“This is very abnormal,” she said, reviewing the documents. “I think it’s wrong, and I think there’s something in there that’s off.”

That would be quite the understatement.

Among the donations attributed to Waffle are 47 contributions to Abdul El-Sayed, the Democratic Socialist running in Michigan’s Senate primary. El-Sayed’s campaign has boasted that he is the state’s top ActBlue fundraiser, pulling in ten times the small-dollar donations of Representative Haley Stevens (D-MI) — a claim that looks considerably less impressive if a significant portion of those donations are being falsely attributed to elderly retirees who can barely afford their internet bill. A Detroit News/WDIV poll released this month put Stevens ahead of El-Sayed by roughly seven points.

The story quickly caught fire on X, where users were understandably alarmed. One pointed out that the platform had “assigned hundreds of thousands to elderly donors that clearly didn’t give the money,” before asking the obvious question: “Where is this money really coming from? Needs to be investigated.”

That is exactly the right question. ActBlue, the dominant Democratic small-dollar fundraising platform, has faced questions before about its donor verification practices. If an 88-year-old widow living on a pension in a trailer is showing up in FEC records as having made nearly fifteen thousand donations totaling $150,000, money she says she absolutely did not give, then someone needs to explain where that money is actually coming from and whose name it is being laundered through.

Democrats have spent years insisting their small-dollar fundraising operation is the gold standard of grassroots democracy. Elizabeth Waffle’s paperwork suggests a very different story.

(DC Pundit) – Three people are dead in Salisbury, North Carolina, and the man responsible had a final order of removal sitting in his file, which means he should have been gone from this country years ago. He wasn’t, because the Obama administration decided to let him stay.

Javiel Pena Sola, an illegal alien from El Salvador, struck a vehicle on Saturday night and fled the scene. Two victims were pronounced dead at the scene. A third was airlifted to a hospital and later passed away. Sola was tracked down by a police K-9 after attempting to flee and has since been charged with three felony counts of hit and run involving serious injury or death.

This did not have to happen. Not even close.

DHS confirmed the full backstory, and it is a damning indictment of the catch-and-release policies that defined the Obama era. After his arrest for escaping from custody in Maryland in 2016, local law enforcement did the right thing, they honored an ICE detainer and handed Pena Sola over to ICE Baltimore. The system worked exactly as it was supposed to. Then the Obama administration stepped in and released him back into the country two months later.

That’s it. That’s the whole story. A dangerous illegal alien with a criminal record that included reckless endangerment, failure to stop after an accident involving damage, driving without a license, and escaping from custody was handed to federal immigration authorities, and the Obama administration put him right back on American streets.

Sola also has a final order of removal on file, meaning a federal immigration judge had already determined he needed to leave the country. He didn’t. He stayed. Three people are now dead.

ICE lodged another detainer this week and has asked North Carolina to transfer Sola to federal custody. The names of the victims have not yet been released.

Every person who defended catch-and-release, who fought ICE detainers, who blocked deportations, who treated illegal aliens with criminal records as a protected class — they own a share of what happened in Salisbury on Saturday night. The victims of this crash are not abstractions in a policy debate. They are people with families who are now left to grieve a completely preventable loss.

(DC Pundit) – Jasmine Crockett showed up to a House Judiciary Committee hearing on Tuesday and delivered exactly what anyone who has watched her for five minutes would expect: a prolonged, race-obsessed meltdown that had very little to do with actual legislation and everything to do with her apparent belief that every policy she disagrees with can be explained by two words: white supremacy.

The hearing was on the “Permanent Trump Secure Border Act,” which would codify President Trump’s immigration policies ahead of the midterm elections. Crockett, the outgoing Texas Democrat, couldn’t even pretend to engage with the substance of the bill. She opened by essentially warning her colleagues that things were about to get unhinged.

“Y’all knew it was coming, especially once I showed up,” she told the room.

“But let’s talk about what this is really about,” she continued. “and I know y’all knew it was coming, especially once I showed up: It’s racist. It’s just racist, racist, racist!”

Three times. In case anyone missed it the first two.

She then attempted to explain her reasoning. “Okay, now let me tell you why it is racist. All right, this ain’t about whether or not you’re concerned that the immigrant is coming in and the immigrant is gonna kill everybody. That is not what it is. It’s not,” Crockett said. “It’s the things like what your fearless leader said when he said they’re poisoning the blood, okay? What this is about is racism!”

Crockett then turned her attention to the Trump administration’s refugee program for White South Africans fleeing documented persecution and violence. “Let me just be clear: your president, he is the one that said white South African refugees needed their own program, and so therefore he decided that he would raise the cap on how many refugees could come into the United States, but it was only raised for white South Africans. The administration set a limit of 17,500 slots planned to admit more white South Africans as refugees this year,” she said, framing the protection of a persecuted minority group as somehow evidence of racism.

She also took aim at ICE agents, calling them “completely incompetent” who don’t “know how to do the daggone job,” accusing them of targeting people based on appearance.

Then came the part that should disqualify her from serving in Congress entirely. Crockett argued that indigenous people are the only legitimate residents of this country and suggested White Americans are the real illegal immigrants.

“The people that were here are the indigenous folk, and you know who ICE been rounding up? They’ve been rounding up indigenous people, the people that originally came, not the colonizers, but the original people,” she shouted.

She then delivered what amounted to an open declaration of her worldview: “So, what this is about is whiteness. Everything that this administration has pushed has been about white supremacy, your fear.”

Crockett also dismissed concerns about crime committed by illegal immigrants, saying, “You want to sit up here and act like the crime is being perpetrated by people of color, but the statistics say otherwise… anybody can commit a crime on any given day.”

She closed with: “I know that y’all believe in propaganda, and y’all don’t want people to know the truth, and y’all definitely don’t want them to know history, because then you gotta again acknowledge colonizing.”

Jasmine Crockett is an outgoing member of Congress. Texas voters will have the final word, and based on this performance, they’ve seen more than enough.

ALERT: Busch Gardens Betrays Families With Sick ‘Kid-Friendly’ Pride Event Starring Depraved Drag Queens

(DC Pundit) – Busch Gardens Williamsburg has decided that what families really need on a summer day at a theme park is drag queen performances, and if you have a problem with that, too bad, because they’ve already turned off the comments.

The Virginia theme park is gearing up for its annual Pride Day event on July 26, which it is marketing as a “family-friendly” celebration featuring what its own event page describes as “sensational family-friendly entertainment by LGBTQ+ stars” in the Abbey Stone Theatre. The lineup includes performers identified as Jennifer Warner, Just Jasmin, Sabrina Lawrence, Celestia Cox, and others. Three shows are scheduled throughout the day — at 11:30 a.m., 1:30 p.m., and 3:30 p.m. — all included with regular park admission. So if you bought a ticket to ride rollercoasters with your kids, congratulations, you’re also funding this whether you knew about it or not.

The park describes the performances as “dazzling family-friendly displays of feel-good fun” and encourages guests to “let loose and dance in your seat.” The event also includes a DJ dance party, specialty merchandise, a vendor fair, and other activities.

The announcement did not land well. Parents pushed back hard online, questioning the appropriateness of drag performances at a theme park marketed to families. Libs of TikTok highlighted the event and noted that Busch Gardens responded to the criticism the way every corporation does when it knows it’s on shaky ground, by disabling comments on its social media posts promoting the event. Nothing says “we’re confident in our decision” quite like shutting down the ability to discuss it publicly.

Busch Gardens has not issued a statement responding to the criticism. Of course it hasn’t.

This is not the first time the park has hosted similar events. Busch Gardens has held Pride Day celebrations in previous years, typically partnering with local LGBTQ+ organizations and promoting them as “inclusive celebrations” open to all guests. Inclusive, that is, unless you’re a parent who didn’t sign up to have your children watch drag performances during a day trip to a theme park.

The broader pattern here is worth noting. Corporate America has spent years slowly pushing this content into spaces traditionally associated with children and families — libraries, schools, and now theme parks — while simultaneously labeling any parental objection as bigotry. Busch Gardens is simply the latest entry in a long and growing list.
